The national co-ordinator, Atiku Abubakar Media Vanguard, Hon. Peresine Watchman at a press briefing after the official declaration of the victory of the Waziri Adamawa on Sunday, congratulated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on behalf of members of AAMV on his well deserved victory.
He stated that the landslide victory of the former Vice President at the People’s Democratic Party Convention in Port Harcourt was a clear evidence of his general acceptability and the finger of God for PDP to take over power from the ruling APC in 2019, to get Nigeria working again.
Watchman said, “His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s victory is not only a victory for Atiku, his political family and PDP, but it’s a victory for Democracy and Nigerians. With Atiku as the PDP presidential candidate, Nigerians are sure of removing APC-led Federal government from power and live as one Nigeria.”
“Nigerians should celebrate because a detribalized Leader who will bring peace and create wealth, build strong institutions and industries to employ the unemployed youths; who will fight against injustice and nepotism, tribalism and oppression, poverty and insecurity, and infrastructural decay have been elected the Presidential candidate of the greatest Party in Africa, PDP, which natured Nigeria’s Democracy to maturity and has the technical know-how to manage Nigeria’s economy, to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.”
He says Atiku Abubakar Media Vanguard believes in the exemplary leadership style of Atiku. We believe that he is the most qualified and prepared political Leader in Nigeria to bring Nigerians out of “Egypt”.
That is the reason we keyed into his 2019 presidential project last year and organized a national rally in Asaba, Delta State on March 17, 2018, to asked him to declare his intention to contest the 2019 presidential elections under the platform of PDP.
We have concluded the first phase of the election with joy and victory songs. We are going to conclude the second phase of the elections with a triumphant dance steps, and Nigerians will never regret voting for Atiku in the 2019 general elections,” Peresine said.
Hon. Peresine Watchman thanked the Chairman and members of the Convention Planning Committee for conducting a very transparent, free and fair primary elections.
He also thanked the delegates for voting the most qualified and prepared presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to salvage PDP and Nigeria.
He specifically thanked Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and his Bayelsa State counterpart, His Excellency Henry Seriake Dickson and all the delegates of Bayelsa and Delta States, respectively for voting massively for the preferred candidate of the Niger Deltans in particular and Nigerians in general.
Peresine also thanked APCO and all genuine Atiku Support Groups like AAMV, which never relent in project and defending the reputation of the Waziri Adamawa on Social and print media, as well as canvassing and mobilizing grassroots support for the incoming President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
