End in Sight for Indiscriminate Lawlessness on Abuja Roads.

 

 

In compliance with  Mallam Muhammed Musa Bello , FCT Minister’s directive  to clean up the city and make Abuja safe for resident, the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council in collaboration with the Joint Ministerial Task Force embarked on an environmental cleanup exercise at the Zuba Interchange .

 

 TPL Umar Shuaibu, Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) , who led the Team said that Zuba is an entry  point from the Northern States. Unfortunately, the site is an eyesore to visitors. The first image that   captures the mind is that of disorganized, in secured ,unplanned and dirty City.

 

Tpl Shuaibu said that the FCT Administration desires  to give a positive image and reputation  to the Nigerian Capital ,Abuja from the entrance. ‘’We want to ensure that legal ventures take place in legal places. We will leave no stone unturned to stop all illegal activities where ever they take place,’’  he said.

 

The AMMC  Coordinator  stressed that this is a new era.Abuja is not only the Capital of Nigeria but the entire black race and must be kept clean. He disclosed that after Zuba, Giri Interchange,Area 1,Nyanya and  a host of others would follow in the  reinvigorated cleanup exercise.
