The Controller General, Liman Alhaji Ibrahim MIFireE has announced the promotion of 1276 Officers of the Federal Fire Service.
The CGF made the announcement while decorating his personal staff. He used the opportunity to call on the newly promoted officers to be more committed and dedicated to their responsibilities bearing in mind that “to whom much is given, much is expected “. He said that the Management under his leadership will continue to provide the enabling environment for staff to give their best in moving the Service forward.
The CGF went further to thank the Honourable Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Board, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and other members of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire & Immigration Services Board (CCFIB) for graciously approving the elevation.
The CGF has directed Heads of Commands and Departments to immediately decorate all officers under their Commands and Departments.
The Controller General, also used the opportunity to congratulate the Director of Finance and Account of the Service Alh Aliyu Shinkafi who was recently appointed Permanent Secretary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
