Fraudulent transaction allegation: I’ve been vindicated, says business magnate, Fordjour

PRESS RELEASE

A renowned entrepreneur, Charles Douglas Fordjour, has said that he had been cleared of the fraudulent business transaction allegation levelled against him by his Ghanaian business partner, Henry Bruce, which was reported in a Ghanaian media outlet.

According to him, Bruce had recanted the allegation in letter he addressed to the media platform and requested it to take the report down.

Fordjour noted that Bruce’s move had vindicated him of the false allegation to defame his reputation.

This was disclosed by Fordjour in a statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja at the weekend.

While making reference to the letter personally signed by Bruce to debunk the allegation, a copy of which was also made available to NAN, Fordjour stressed that he (Bruce) had cleared him of involvement in any business infraction nor fraudulent act or conduct in his business deals with him (Fordjour).

Fordjour also disclosed that Bruce, while reacting to the malicious publication aimed at maligning his (Fordjour) integrity and business credibility, had written to Ghana Business News: “I, Henry Bruce, a resident of Accra-Gnana, do hereby write to bring the following matters to the attention of the general public. I am accordingly writing this letter, evincing in this letter that I have a business relationship with Charles Douglas Opoku Fordjour and there was no fraud element in any of the transactions between us.”

The letter read in part: “Consequently, Charles Douglas Opoku Fordjour has taken steps to settle the outstanding business issues between us as business partners. I hereby request that the publication concerning this issue be taken down.”
