The Department of Internal Medicine, Maitama District Hospital enlightened patients on how to prevent Stroke on International Stoke Day. Dated on 29th of October 2023.
Themed: “TOGETHER WE ARE GREATER THAN STROKE”
Below are the media awareness campaign:
They were able to reach over two hundred people within the hospital: Medical Outpatient department ( MOPD), antenatal clinic (ANC) and the General outpatient department (GOPD).
There was also a screening point at the MOPD where people were screened of hypertension and diabetes as well as gifts ( water and apples ) for participants.
