The World Day of Remembrance remembers the many millions killed and injured on the world’s roads, together with their families, friends and many others who are also affected. The theme for this year’s event is “Road have Stories”. The program further strives to support the attainment of the global road safety agenda as enshrined in the UN SDG 3.6 and 11.2.
This program further seeks to sensitize the public on road safety and stimulate attention to the critical risk factors associated with road traffic fatalities albeit within a fun and congenial atmosphere.
The walk will be attended by key stakeholders from the Diplomatic Corps, UN Decade of Action on Road Safety, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport, Organize Private Sector, FRSC, NPF, VIO, Celebrities, Civil Societies, and all Road Safety Campaigners.
