NAFDAC DG SHINES AT NACCIMA BREAKFAST ROUNDTABLE IN LAGOS, BAGS EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE AWARD
The Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, was the Guest Speaker at the Breakfast Roundtable Meeting organized by the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) held today at Providence Hotel, Lagos.
The high-level meeting brought together members of the Association, captains of industry, and key stakeholders from across the organized private sector.
In her keynote address, the DG spoke extensively on NAFDAC’s regulatory processes, reforms, and the giant strides the Agency has recorded under her leadership in safeguarding public health and promoting ease of doing business.
She highlighted how NAFDAC’s transparent, science-driven and business-friendly regulatory framework has helped industries to thrive, while ensuring that only safe, quality and wholesome products get to Nigerians.
Respondents at the meeting, including industry leaders and members of the Association, took turns to shower encomiums on the DG, praising her for her visionary leadership, her commitment to the fight against fake and substandard drugs, and her immense contributions to the growth of industry in Nigeria.
In recognition of her outstanding performance, hard work and excellent contribution to industry and to the fight against fake and substandard drugs, the DG was presented with an Award of Excellent Performance by NACCIMA.
The award was received amid applause and celebration by all participants at the event.
