OBOREVWORI REWARDS CONSTITUENTS WITH EMPOWERMENT LARGESS
The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has given out cars, buses, tricycle (keke) sewing and grinding machine, wrappers and head ties as part of empowerment programme to some persons in his constituency, Okpe LGA.
The Speaker who described his election as a social contract between him and the people of Okpe said that the purpose of the empowerment was to show gratitude and appreciate Okpe people for their support in choosing him to represent them at the state House of Assembly.
He encouraged beneficiaries not to waste the seed being sown in them, urging them to put all items in good use and not to sell them, encouraging those yet to receive empowerment to be patient, focused and calm promising that it would get to them in due course.
Some of the items given out include 4cars, 20 Buses, 20 Deep Freezers, 10 Tricycles, 20 Hair Driers, 40 Grinding Machines, 500 wrappers, 30 Sewing Machines and other items including cash gifts.
