Men of the Federal Fire Service responded to a fire call at Ahunbe Village along Aliade road in Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State, yesterday 1st July at about 16:17hrs. On getting there, it was fire resulting from a fallen tanker carrying fuel.
The Firefighters on arrival were able to contain the fire and stop it from further escalation and destruction.
Investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the actual cause of the fire and the level of casualty.Our men are at the scene carrying out search and rescue as victims are taken to hospital for medical attention.
