Since his inauguration as a member of the 10th National Assembly, Dr. Agbese has demonstrated exceptional dedication and diligence in the performance of his duties, ensuring that his constituency reaps the full benefits of good governance. His unwavering commitment to addressing the needs of his people, while also contributing to national development, has made him stand out as one of the most effective lawmakers in recent years. His leadership has sparked a rapid and tangible transformation in the federal constituency, leading to widespread recognition and admiration from his constituents.
One of Dr. Agbese’s first significant milestones came on his first anniversary in office, when he was widely acclaimed for sponsoring the highest number of bills as a first timer in the Green Chamber. His legislative agenda has been focused on improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians, particularly those in his constituency.

Distribution of Solar Streetlights: As part of his commitment to improving infrastructure and making communities safer, Dr. Agbese initiated the distribution of solar streetlights across several areas, including Itabono-1 & 2, Ehaje-2, Orokam 1&2, Igumale 2, Ojapo, Ichama, Ekile, Ijigban, and others. This initiative not only enhances security but also promotes economic activities by providing lighting for businesses and markets after dark.
2. Reconstruction of Health Facilities: Health has been another priority for Dr. Agbese. One of his notable projects was the reconstruction and modernization of health facilities at the Federal Medical Outstation in Effekwo. The facility was fully equipped with modern medical equipment and supplies, improving healthcare delivery for constituents who previously faced challenges in accessing quality medical services.
3. Renovation of Okpokwu Township Stadium: In a bid to foster sports and community engagement, Dr. Agbese successfully renovated and reconstructed the Okpokwu Township stadium. 6. Widespread recruitment of personnel into para-military forces, facilitated by the Enone Servant, Chief (Dr) Philip Agbese, Okanga K’Agila.
